Application field

 

These cables are used for power supply in low-voltage installation systems and are suitable for installation in indoor and outdoor, cable ducts, underground, power and exchange stations, local energy distribution, and industrial plants without mechanical damage.

 

Conductor

 

The conductor shall be ordinary or metal-coated annealed copper or ordinary aluminum or aluminum alloy in accordance with IEC 60228 level 1 or 2, or shall be class 5 ordinary or metal-coated copper.

 

Insulation

 

The material and thickness of XLPE should meet the requirements of IEC 60502 or BS 5467, and it is suitable for continuous operation at 90°C.

Assembly/inner cover

 

The inner cover can be squeezed or ground. For cables with round cores, except for cables with more than five cores, the use of overlapped inner coverings is only allowed when the gap between the cores has been substantially filled. Before applying the extruded inner cover layer, it is allowed to use a suitable adhesive. The material should be compatible with the insulating material, and the material used for the inner covering and filling layer should be suitable for the working temperature of the cable and compatible with the insulating material; for halogen-free cables, the inner covering and filling layer should also be halogen-free compounds.

 

Armor

 

According to IEC 60502-1, aluminum/galvanized steel/steel wire is spirally wound on the inner cover, and double aluminum/steel tape and copper/tinned copper wire can also be manufactured according to requirements.

 

Outer sheath

 

The outer sheath should be ST1/ST2 type extruded PVC, ST​​3/ST7 type polyethylene, halogen-free compound ST8, polychloroprene, chlorosulfonated polyethylene or similar polymers in accordance with IEC 60502-1, The SE1 type is also available on request.

 

Fire performance of cable sheath

 

The cable can be provided with a special flame-retardant PVC jacket to meet the flame-retardant test requirements of IEC 60332-3-22, IEC 60332-3-23 and IEC 60332-3-24, and the halogen-free materials comply with IEC60754-1 / 2 and IEC 60684 -2.
